I have been employed at the CMRR since 1993. My main duties at the
center are installation, maintenance, repairs and upgrades for all the
magnets and data acquisition equipment. Some specific duties are:
- Maintaining proper liquid helium levels in the magnets
- Maintaining the refrigeration systems on the magnets
- Troubleshooting and repair of electronics in the data acquisition equipment
I am also involved with projects to design and implement equipment to
amend or improve upon commercially available equipment such as low noise
RF preamplifiers and digital receivers.
