About me


My name is Xiaoping Wu, and I come from mainland China. Currently I am a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, working in the Center of Magnetic Resonance Research. My advisor is Kamil Ugurbil, and my co-advisor Pierre-Francois Van de Moortele. Before coming to the US, I received my B.E. as well as M.E. in Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Research


My Ph.D. project focuses on Parallel Excitation, or Transmit SENSE, on human Magnetic Resonance (MR) scanners at very high fields.
