Magnetic resonance imaging is a critical tool for cutting-edge research in many disciplines at the University of Minnesota. Its use has expanded from fields that have traditionally valued neuroimaging data, such as psychology, neuroscience, psychiatry, radiology, and child development, into a whole host of other domains, including economics, political science, public health, and even design.
